Visions of Eternity has been a wonderful send-off to this era of Guild Wars 2. I hadn't cried at an expansion end since End of Dragons, and I didn't expect to finish this patch loving Vloxx AND Isgarren more. Kudos to their amazing voice actors.

GW2 is definitely an acquired taste, especially vs people that like traditional MMOs. I always recommend GW1, especially for people that like deck builders and making overpowered crap. I feel like GW3 will get the stragglers, though!

I haven't had the time to start the new patch but I'm LOVING this expac. I'd love the new sword but I just finished Nevermore and I wanna be rich for a little. I do wish they were a bit more straight-forward about legendary crafting, I had to use a guide and crafted all my lock-outs first.
