I know the programmer, @themistercat, had to do lots of custom stuff and workarounds to get such a custom menu working, from what I know Zdoom is not an easy engine to change menu behaviors.

Card System in the works: throughout the campaign you'll get the chance to collect randomized Sigil cards that will upgrade things like your movement and weaponry. Expanding your collection will allow you to mix things up with your card builds! #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame #FPS #Hellslinger

So far we have a mandatory sequence where you have to use it on Map01 so people don't miss that it's a feature that exists, it will be useful overall across the game tho. The only extra movement mechanics we have are slide and dash, but we're far from being a hardcore movement fps I believe
