Some deeply tragic poetry (?) I wrote a while back about Hadestown 💔 this musical destroys me

When Hades corrected Persephone to tell her "I let them try"--
Did he know they would fail?
Did he want them to?
Did he watch them walk away, hoping that if they made it, he and Persephone could too?
Or did he greet Eurydice with grim satisfaction,
Because even though his wife had been swayed, he never was?

When Persephone learned of their failure, did she blame him?
Is his story as circular as Orpheus'?
Will he always try and fail to be the man Persephone deserves?

Or did he watch them with despair, knowing that not even he could change what the Fates had decided.
Did he wish he could've told Orpheus that his quest was doomed from the start?
If he had, would he be admitting that he, too, was Fated to an eternity of misery?

My tiny cat is taking up the entire bed. Somehow

Knov's palace infiltration in the anime is consistently tense meanwhile in the manga there's a panel of him looking like this

A screenshot from HxH, Chimera Ant: Knov running towards the camera. His arms, head, and hips are covered in leaves. Only his glasses and nose are visible.

This piece of art in the manga is one of the most compelling trans!kurapika arguments yet ALSO, I noticed as I was writing the alt text, Gon's bracelets match Killua's anklets. Y'all.
