Bsky preemptively kowtowing to TX's insane age verification law means I've been avoiding it like the plague. But I wanted to post the 2027 BL Calendar #yaoisky #blsky #bl blcalendar.neocities.org/year/2027

I love collecting physicals of the media I love. When DVDs aren’t available I buy photobooks instead. It sucks I won’t be able to get the SCD one

Bluesky is requiring age verification to login via the app because of my region. I’m bypassing it now with a VPN I refuse to give any socmed my ID or SSN data, so if my account suddenly disappears you’ll know why ✌🏿

#DeepInSeries Seems like the show-within-the-show is basically Chinese Ten Count. Shi Count.

#DeepInSeries is good but it’s hard to get immersed in the show-within-a-show aspect because these dudes look so young. I’m supposed to believe Fang Chi went to med school? He’s in his second year of college MAX

NEW SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT: Legroom Gitae wakes up locked in a windowless room with no memory of how he got there, and one of his legs cut off. His only chance at escape is to take advantage of his captor’s infatuation with him. But one wrong move, and there’s no telling what the smiling man will do…

Via Lactea announced they’ve secured the rights to publish all of Kun Yi Wei Lou’s works, which I assume will include As an Elder Brother. Big day for perverts (me)

I got a very interesting ask on Tumblr that lead me to explain my positionality and the historical context of what we understand about the MLM coterie magazine Adonis vs early commercial BL of the 1970s. While different, they both operated in and inspired later doujinshi made pre and post Comiket.

volume 1 of Adonis, one of the first mlm / gay male coterie magazines and fanzines made in Japan for elites.

I genuinely find Ticket to Heaven enjoyable but for some reason I’ve been stuck trying to complete episode 4 all day. I just find myself drifting out and having to rewind time and time again

this height difference seems wrong to me but I also barely ever see them stood together

Tea Gardner and Duke Devlin stood beside one another - Duke is seemingly almost twice her height?

(I keep forgetting YAMW posts on days that end in 3 so I need to catch up) Daiki, I’m sorry. I thought we were being set up for a second love rival storyline but my boy’s just in a doomed romance ;;

I saw a European say “Americans are so sensitive. What’s wrong with a story about a cowboy?” Helga, this is about the enslavement of Black people.

Maybe it’s just the side of the internet I’m on, but the criticisms I saw Wasteland was respectful and had “Let’s see where this goes” as the takeaway In her statement, JAXX says she didn’t put enough care into the historical aspect bc she was focused on the characters —

80% of Taiwanese BL dramas have crossovers, and of that 80% I think 60% feature Wayne Song

Legroom Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟 It has us in the first half, but this one turns out to be exceedingly wholesome despite being exceedingly violent. It's not one for everyone, but for those it's for, it's wonderful. The pairing is adorbs (if unhinged), the plot is unique, and the spice is 🤌. #AMushroomReviews
