Since this is turning into a sketch dump, here’s one more: I’ve got an unnamed one with Jungle Band as a working title. An entire school band gets cursed by a gryphon to turn into animals whenever they exhibit their fatal flaw (mermaids unrelated). I have a design for every position in the band

I do love that style! It’s so cozy. Reminds me of when I was an 11yo lurker on YouTube watching Splashkittyartist and the like. St-Exupéry’s Little Prince is a huge love letter to childhood art and I love trying to emulate stuff like that (I drew this piece for my aunt)

Hell Followed With Us is a visceral novel about Benji, a trans boy who escapes the doomsday cult he grew up in and takes refuge in an abandoned LGBT youth center now run by queer kids. The cult has experimented on Benji to slowly mutate him into their “Seraphim”. Lots of body horror and monsters!

Girlmode is a gorgeous, colourful graphic novel about Phoebe, a trans girl who just moved schools across the country and tries her best to fit in. I want to highlight the writing here as all the characters feel like real teenagers. Fun deconstruction of Mean Girls archetypes as well!
