7. do you ship your OC's with someone else's? i have in the past with friends (who i've lost contact with) and I really love shipping OCs between friends! but right now me and a friend have a ffixiv catboy ship!

6. describe your character creation process (1) most often i look at references for a theme or character idea i want to draw. could be anything, like haircuts or outfits. (2) i start of just doodling, dropping pieces i don't like and keeping what i do like until it looks right. (3) hamburger.

4. favorite oc design i was really cooking when i made cosmo. being self indulgent is the best way to design characters haha

2. newest oc this is tsuki, he's one half of the ocship i made at the beginning of the year. still a little rough around the edges but I hope I can post more about his storyline soon

161

[Hello!] Hal ✨ @hellohal.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

1. first OC this is Winter, my first real OC. I made him in 6th grade (10? 11? y/o) he was originally a character i used only to RP with my friend, like an ongoing story we were always adding to. i've made tweaks to him throughout the years but there's still more stuff I wanna fix about him.

a bust doodle of my OC, winter. he has white hair, blue eyes, glasses, and wears a faded brown suit jacket. you can faintly see he has golden angel wings and a halo.

so you know those moving stream starting/brb screens that have been popular lately? was playing around with how to make my own... never done anything like this so i'm just blindly stumbling my way through it (obviously i haven't figured out how to make a smooth repeating loop lmao)

I'm realizing I never announced this here, but back during citruscon, I opened an ACGGoods Shop! Right now there's just keychains of previous sticker designs, but I'd love to make some more stuff when I have time! #artshop #acggoods acggoods.com/store/hello-...

ahhhh i was thinking about them so i drew some stuff... i'm bad at explaining context though 😅 #originalBL #ocs #hellohalart

sketchpage of my three polyamorous OCs, Sol, Walt, and Benji.
top left: Benji and Walt together waist up, looking at the viewer. Walt is tall, blonde, and wearing a t-shirt and a crossbody bag. Benji is a bit shorter, with black hair, and wearin a hoodie and a messenger bag.
top right: Walt and Benji are talking to Sol. Walt is saying "Are you off work? Come have dinner with us!" Sol, embarrassed, says in reply "I don't want to intrude on your date."
bottom left: Walt has Sol backed up against something, leaning over him, looking serious. Sol is looking a bit nervous and blushing.
bottom right: Benji is holding Sol from behind and giving him a hickey.

(tfw your oc already has a mermaid form) sol is only a mermaid when he's wet (think "the 13th year") he has perfect vision underwater and only needs glasses on land. he's actually a TERRIBLE mermaid lmao its kind of a shame/sore spot for him and he spends very little time in this form.

my oc sol as a mermaid being held bridal style by another oc, a man with a shark tail. neither of them look happy about it.

I added a new commission type in preparation for artfight- headshot icon/pfps to make your character page a little more organized looking! but of course you could use this kind of pfp on lots of character sites. ^^ ty for looking! vgen.co/hellohal #vgenopen
