A simplified gestural painting in a mild imitation of a Renaissance-style. Ambros, a heavily tattooed bald man, is tied to a tree by his hands which are over his head, referencing Saint Sebastian. He leans his head back and smiles slightly, heavy lidded. His body is covered in fresh slash scars which have blood smeared from them, and the blood has been used to sign a confession, which is pinned to the tree next to him. In classic Renaissance style there's some 'look mum it's perspective' shit in the background, namely trees, a cairn, some boulders, a big ruin I nicked from a Renaissance painting and a little cottage from one of my holiday photos.
