I love working with alpaca yarns. They are sustainable, considered hypoallergenic for most, and so so soft. One of my top 5 personal favorite fibers. Only problem is that dyeing them makes the whole studio (and house) smell like a petting zoo. Anyway, met these babes yesterday. Dyeing now…

My Gulf of Mexico yarn from @hellagoodyarn.bsky.social is here! I grew up on the Gulf Coast and miss that water every day. I'm going to knit something that will allow me to wrap myself in the Gulf of Mexico anytime, anywhere.
