Its really does speak a ton about how they could potentially operate as a business. It's just disappointing to be ghosted at all. A simple rejection could've sufficed in this scenario.

I got ghosted after an art test, which was unpaid (i know, first red flag). Didn't sign an NDA or anything, and they say not to post it anywhere... should I refine it and post it anyway? Do you think thats a bad move? I think it could be a good addition to my portfolio lol.

Honestly the more time passes the more I feel I should find another career path. Wish it could be in games, but doubt anyone hires junior producers with 0 experience and/or degrees to back it up. I would love to stay in the industry any way I can. Even if its not making 3D art 😞

The vicious cycle of going on LinkedIn, to then get depressed (and equally happy) your network is getting work and you aren't 🥴 but can't avoid LinkedIn alltogether because thats how you find jobs and connections.

I keep track on my job applications and this is what 2024 and 2025 looked like for me lmao. In 2025 people really didn't even care to send a rejection email, which idk if its better or not at this point for my mental health. lets hope 2026 is better! (and that I finally find a job in game dev again)

I always loved UV unwrapping in Maya because it was so easy and intuitive. Blender's UV unwrapping is so bad and even with add-ons (free ones) it still sucks 🥴

Not how to create materials. But how to use designer in your already established workflow. How do you implement the materials? How high poly do you go, if you can make those inside designer? So many questions with rarely answers. Maybe its my time to make documentation thats easily found 😂
