The review, due to be published on Tuesday, was triggered after a year-long Guardian investigation revealed how carers had been hit with draconian penalties of as much as £20,000 relating to carer’s allowance. As April is our Paws for Carers month today we joined Carers First for a dog walk in support of unpaid carers. Carers joined us to help us raise awareness and encourage carers to try and take a break.
