small h @helenjp.bsky.social · 22/09/2026I cleaned everything out, rinsed the rice, put it in a pot with water and set it over the heat. Then I looked up how to make rice in a pot. Wouldn’t you know, you’re supposed to boil the water first and THEN put the rice in. (Again, it’s been decades.) The rice came out alright. A little mushy. 120
