Late to this sad news. Iván was my initial advisor at NYUAD, and the person who interviewed me during Candidate Weekend. At the end of our interview, he gave me a little wink and said, “See you in Fall.” His confidence and wisdom were among the reasons I ended up choosing NYUAD.
