I have this old quilt that's falling apart, I just keep mending it. It's ratty but oh so comfortable. I have other quilts but I like this one the best. It feels right. I found it in a Goodwill bin store for a $1 a few years ago. It was worn out then. I imagine a 100 stories for it. #CallMeLinus

Bright Solstice Blessings to all. It's Winter Solstice here. #solstice

A rust colored silk altar cloth with an Asian embroidered sailboat theme, gifted to me for solstice. My celebration tools set up on the table top.

My handmade spiral solstice countdown. I made it out of clay. It's painted blue with silver stars and dots. There are 20 spaces to hold twenty stones, counting down each day. In the center is a candle holder, circular and painted with a large silver star. In the center of it sits a small green candle lit for the 21st day. The Solstice.

Just home from total knee replacement surgery. All went well. Now begins the healing process. I'm told I can't kneel on my new knee once it's healed without pain? That is frustrating. What has been your experience with knee replacement? Any advice? #kneereplacement #recovery #patience #healthcare

Halloween is in the air... Fun decor at home and in the neighborhood.

Had to say goodbye to my forest, flats, trails and river and head back to the city for the winter. Good news, I will be returning for 6 months on May 1st. I'll be counting down the days but in the meantime, making the best of city living until then. #countryheart #trailerlife #simpleliving

October 1st A pinch and a punch for the first of the month and a rabbit, rabbit, rabbit too. The countdown is on for me. Only 19 days of camping season left and I am off to stay with my youngest back in the city temporarily. I have a knee replacement surgery, in mid November and need time to heal.

My life has had another plot twist. My partner decided he doesn't want to pursue a relationship anymore. He called me to tell me while I was on the road returning home from a 10 day vending event. I have to move my tent to a new location to finish the season and secure new housing for the winter.

It's been awhile. I am in full swing vending season, living out of a camper, creating in a tent, and traveling to events. I have my biggest event starting in 2 days. The road trip starts early Sunday morning. Camping rough, vending, bands, dancing, drumming, workshops, rits, friends, can't wait!
