I think the solution is systemic unfortunately, the pressure and praise we put on college football athletes to defend their honor at all costs is what started this whole event. Emotion regulation and mindfulness would’ve gone a long way for both teams and the police in this scenario I think.

I have a degree in psychology and sociology and I became a human services worker. Not the gig to get into if you’re looking to get rich, but there’s a lot of satisfaction in helping others become better versions of themselves :)
