Second Floci release train leaves today. Releases run on a schedule now: first and third Tuesday, all four emulators, same day. A minor bump means new work landed, patches ship out of band. Nightlies build daily from main, so you never wait for the train. Join the Flock. github.com/floci-io

Open World for Native Image 🌎 Your Native Image application can now load new classes at runtime, while keeping all benefits of AOT optimizations 🚀 Best of both worlds! To use it: build with @graalvm.org 25.1+ and `-H:+RuntimeClassLoading`.

Welcome to issue number three hundred and forty-two of Hashtag Jakarta EE! I am currently at JConf Dominicana 2026. I will post a separate post about the conference shortly. But I will mention the session I am attending right now, which is a presentation about floci by Hector Ventura. In short, floci is a drop-in replacement for LocalStack that lets you emulate any cloud environment locally.

Stop juggling Azurite, the Cosmos emulator, and four ports to test one app. floci-az = 19 Azure services on one port (4577). Real services, SDK-compatible, not mocks. 1 Docker image. 24ms start. ~13 MiB. $0. Free + MIT: github.com/floci-io/flo... #Azure #DevOps #Test #LocalDev

First time using @floci.io (just for an S3 bucket) - ran via dotnet.testcontainers.org (there's a nuget package for that 😁) and huge levels of "just worked". Not new to running infra locally, but even so the lack of surprises was very welcome.
