Anyone got any recommendations of laptops or drawing tablets that us light sensitive folks can safely use? Unfortunately, recent(ish) updates have made Apple a complete no go.

Happy 25th anniversary to Final Fantasy X. My favourite video game of all time. I wanted to mark the occasion, so I created this fan art of Lulu (who was very inspirational to my younger self). #finalfantasyx #fanart #illustration #Lulu

Stylised 2D fan art of Lulu from Final Fantasy X against a purple background.

I'm excited for Final Fantasy VII: Revelation. So I Tifa Lockhart in her OG pose, wearing her new black mage outfit. Easily one of my all time favourite video game characters.

Fan art of Tifa Lockhart in her black mage outfit from the Final Fantasy 7 Revelation trailer. She is standing in the same pose from the artwork of the original game.

Can any #designers or #illustrators recommend any online courses? Something that gave you structure and knowledge to help you improve your craft a lot. #artists #art #design #illustration #study

I've been working on music and now it's time to share it. Of course, this means my handle no longer makes sense. #darkwave #synthpop #synthwave #music #goth

Prints are on the way for the lemur, the raccoon, the punk, and one other print not pictured. Next step, finish sorting out my online shop. Exciting!

This illustration started out as a sketch that I drew, then got so intimidated by that I almost abandoned it.

Illustration of a man with 80s hair, wearing sunglasses. He is stood in darkness, with his back to us, with his head turned towards a light source.

Every day, at the moment, I tell myself I'm not going to play Expedition 33 before bed. So that's the current daily lie I tell myself.

Thinking of making these into prints, if anyone is interested in buying them? I drew these animals at the end of last year/start of this year. Starting with the raccoon, initially as a gift for my sister. #illustration #art #artprints #animals #raccoon #lemur #seal

It was great fun working with friends on this and making the soundtrack and dialogue.

I draw comics, I work as a content designer, and I make music. So, basically, I'm always fighting with software.

I like Eurovision so much that I drew a Eurovision special of my comic Magic and Taxes. I have been every person at this Eurovision party. #eurovision #comic #oc #webcomic #art #illustration

People gather around a sofa to watch Eurovision.

One asks "what is this dance about?"

Another complains "ugh, this ballad is so boring."

Someone says "wh-what did I just watch!?"

One person says "I kind of like the one by Portugal or Estonia or wherever..."

And Maria says "can we please just watch the show?"

Magic and Taxes comic time! Now that he's basically retired, here's a day in the life of our magical girl's mascot. #webcomic #oc #cat #drawing #art #illustration #originalcharacter #manga

Asterion the cat looks serious. He says to himself: "once again, they have come."

As he looks out onto his garden, he says "other cats" while two black cats climb over the fence into the garden.

One cat looks at him.

Asterion raises his paws up with his claws extended. He looks enraged. He shouts "get out of my garden!"

Sorry Magic and Taxes is late today. To make up for it, this is my favourite one I've drawn yet. #webcomic #comic #art #drawing #illustration #OriginalCharacters #MagicalGirl #oc #ocs #manga

Maria holds her wand aloft. Beams of light spread from her wand as it extends.

She says "it's time... to clean the patio."

And then she uses the magic from her wand to blow the leaves away and then wash the patio down.

Her cat says "you shouldn't really use magic for chores."

Maria retorts "as you're a cat, you shouldn't really talk."

This character is very much inspired by my own cat, Otis.

Otis the three-legged black cat laid on his side in a sunbeam. He looks towards the camera.

It's Thursday, so it's time for Magic and Taxes. Meet our former magical girl's mascot. #comic #webcomic #cat #magicalgirl #art #illustration #drawing #oc #originalcharacters

Sidekick from the stars.

Throughout the panels, we see Maria's cat. He is a white cat with black patches and a neckerchief. We also see a flashback to him meeting Maria, when she was a little girl.

Maria says: "This is my cat. But don't be fooled... He's my sidekick from the stars. He's been here since I got my powers. So, he might be immortal. But these days..."

Cat interrupts and says "Maria! I need biscuits."

Your monthly reminder: Keep writing. When no one cares, persist. When things appear to be crumbling, keep at it. When it's difficult, push through. When you feel alone, listen to the stories in your blood. Just write. The world needs you to tell your truth through your words.

Please please please just make your fucking comic. It doesn't have to have mass appeal or be marketable. I'm literally making a comic about gay aztec steampunks. A publisher would laugh me out the door. I still have a budding audience!! And even then! If it brings you joy, make the fucking comic!

I'm doing the scary thing and posting the first page of my webcomic. Current plan is to post a new page every Thursday. #webcomic #comic #magicalgirl #oc #originalcharacter

First panel: "I was once a magical girl." shown alongside a flashback to a young magical girl.

Second panel: flashback continues with young magical girl charging into battle with her wand in hand. "I fought evil. I saved the world."

Third and fourth panels: "That was a long time ago, but... I'm still magical." Magical girl is now well into adulthood, still carrying her wand.
