Oh Jesus, that's his cue to leave. ❛Noted...❜ Donar put his hands up. ❛I'm going...❜ Donar speed-walked to their front door, fearing that if he stayed any longer, Ròta was going to kick his ass.

000

❛Okay sure...❜ Donar nodded slowly. ❛Do i come see you or will you come see me...?❜ Donar asked for clarification. He didn't want to go to Ròta if she didn't want him to.

000

❛Yikes...❜ Donar forgot how bad Ròta's mood swings were. ❛I'd offer you a hug...but I'm scared you'd try and choke me...again.❜ It was unpleasant. ❛I didn't know! I was ravenous. I'll remake it for you?❜ Donar offered keeping a good distant between them, scared to move even an inch closer.

000

In his defence, he didn't know it was that time for her. He'll make it up to her. ❛How angry are you on a scale from one to ten?❜ Donar asked nervously, unsure whether to approach her fully or not.

000

❛I’d like to hope so, I mean it’s hard to be truly close with her…Given her affect she has on gods alike…I don’t think she’s aware of the affect she has on the likes of us…Nor do I think it’s wise for her to know.❜

❛Course, known her for centuries. Seen her at her worst…❜

❛You & Róta are a pair. She usually writes about her dreams and you paint them. Both sensational ways to express feelings and emotions. Put your very thoughts and dreams onto blank canvases…❜

Donar stood quietly taking the painting in. It was remarkable. ❛It’s marvellous. Tells a story old as time…two lovers turned asunder. Always yearning for each other but never fully able to reach one another. Artist always draw inspiration from somewhere. Where did you get yours from?❜

❛What style of paintings do you do?❜

000

❛Pretty please...?❜ Donar asked softly. ❛You always bake the best stuff...❜

000

❛Cmon...Just a slice or two?❜ Donar gave them his best puppy dog eyes.

000

He’s subtly eyeballing the tray of freshly baked Rocky Road across the kitchen counter.

000

Oh so he’s an artist? He didn’t want to pry at his tattoos.

❛I suppose so yeah…❜ Donar shrugged, feeling like he owed it to her after eating her out a house and home.

000

Donar sighed throwing his head back. ❛Cmon then, I’ll buy you a two month supply of them then.❜

000

He said he was sorry. He didn’t meant to eat their dumplings.

000

He didn't know he had tattoos. Interesting.

❛Ah, that makes sense...Still.❜ Donar slowly laid her down on the bed looking at her. ❛Bed’s comfier than the floor. Shall I turn the fan on then?❜

000

❛I didn’t know you mingled with the Roman gods.❜ Donar stated with genuine surprise. ❛Pray tell them, what’s so bad about sleeping on a bed?❜ Donar asked curiously carrying her through to the spare bedroom, knowing better than to take her to her room. He knew she avoided it like the plague.

000

Donar looked puzzled. ❛Sleeping on the floor is comfortable...? Well from where I was standing it didn’t look comfortable, a bed is comfier than the floor.❜

Donar stood, throwing his head back and letting out an exasperated sigh. ❛Everytime...❜ Donar lifts her up off the floor because who sleeps on the floor.

000

❛Okay if you are sure...❜ Donar remained to sit on the sofa, unsure what to do with himself.

❛Everything okay? Do you need a hand? I can help you look?...❜ Donar asked rather obvious to what effect he was having on Róta.

❛Ah well this is awkward...❜ He has no clean t-shirts to wear as he’s just threw them all in the washing machine.

Donar shrugged, popping his 8th sweet in his mouth, a mini snickers bar. ❛I don't know...❜

❛Ooops...❜ He didn't know. ❛I've not touched any of the bounty's...❜ Donar put his hands up. He knew they were Róta's favourite.

He's nibbling on a box of chocolate he came across.

Welcome to the writer's account for 𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧. Where I write about all exquisitely morbid, melancholy stories that plague my brain. I am but a desolate soul, yearning to write like the writers who inspire me and speak to my very soul.

♡ GIF starter with context (character introduction) *Please be aware that this can be long or short. However, it can be short to ease new people into Donar from American Gods; I cannot guarantee it will be. I do get into my writing. Please dm me if you wish for it to be short.*
