Huge props to the mod team for bringing attention to this ❤️ the zine had every single kink listed with warnings; people could've simply ignored what they didn't like rather than harassing the creators who worked on it. Zines have ALWAYS been a way to express yourself freely, that's what contribs did

dropping a little preview of my piece for the add-on side of @heatsign-zine.bsky.social ~ !! 🔥 this is a free, digital zine- keep an eye out for the release, coming soon ! ^^

A preview of a Touya x Enji fan fiction, written for the 'Heat Signature' zine, a project centered around Touya Todoroki. The preview text reads:

And then his heart begins to pound louder than he’s ever felt it beat. Blood rushes and roars against his ear drums. His chest aches with every inhale, and he grasps the front of his shirt tightly, only to find the fabric damp with sweat. He digs his fingers into intercostal spaces, nails threatening to rip apart his skin and lay his ribcage bare. He can’t catch his breath and starts growing distracted by the sweat running down his temples, dripping from his face. He feels arousal start to swell within him, thrumming through his arteries and taking over his every thought, fierce as a storm.
He needs to go home."

He wasn’t supposed to make it this long.

Before he was even born, doctors told his parents he shouldn’t exist because of how their quirks might combine.

/Because/ their quirks could end up making /him/.

He almost died once, but somehow, through a combination of pure luck and stubbornness, he survived. After running away at 16, he miraculously made it to 23, soon to be 24, but doesn’t have any intention of living much longer.

Or at least he isn’t supposed to.

Serve this next contributor in a chilled glass 🍷 "Hey there! I'm @WineSacramental but just call me Wine. Been writing for a lot of fandoms for a long time and I am more than happy to spready my love for this burning ball of issues to all of you as well."

Alt Text: Heat Signature. An 18+ Touya//Dabi Fanzine Twitter: @HeatSign_Zine Bluesky: @Heatsign-zine Writer Sacramental_Wine (any pronouns) @WineSacramental. Favorite thing about Touya/Dabi? I just love the whole package, especially the way he combines a flair for the dramatic with overwhelming numbness. Dabi breathed out slowly, thick smoke gathering in Shigaraki's open mouth like the onward roll of a storm. Shigaraki gasped in shock, lost in the hazy swirling blue of Dabi's fathomless eyes. He felt the weed filling up his lungs more than he tasted it, the filter of Dabi's own smoothing out the harshness and making it almost palatable. He closed his mouth after a moment, feeling a bit flustered and unsure but Dabi kept holding his jaw and looking right into his eyes.

"Breathe in and hold your breath," Dabi instructed, "for five seconds, then let it out."

Happy Belated Birthday to Touya 🎉🥳 @arashikumo.bsky.social is a gift to the Dabi fandom ❤️‍🔥 "Hi hello it’s mo! I have a love for so many Dabi/Touya ships that I could go on and on and on…."

Alt Text: Heat Signature. An 18+ Touya//Dabi Fanzine Twitter: @HeatSign_Zine Bluesky: @Heatsign-zine Writer Mo ArashiKumo (they/them) Favorite thing about Touya.Dabi? His backstory, his complexity, his pierced dick. Writing sample: “You feel like coming home,” Hawks breathes on his neck before pressing his lips against his pulse.

“Fuck off with the sappy shit, we don’t have homes,” Dabi hisses as Hawks bites down on his jugular before sucking on the skin.

“Oh, my little flame, home is where the heart is,” Hawks replies like they’re some star crossed lovers. Dabi writes off the feeling in his chest as something akin to disgust. That’s why his chest feels so tight, like a rope approaching its breaking point.

“Well, then, aren’t we all just fucked,” Dabi spits back, but his argument dies on his tongue when Hawks’ talons graze down his chest and leave raised, pink lines on his bare stomach.

Alt Text: Heat Signature. An 18+ Touya//Dabi Fanzine Twitter: @HeatSign_Zine Bluesky: @Heatsign-zine Artist Fussel FusselSama (he/she/they) Favorite thing about Touya/Dabi? I have a very personal connection towards him and he is really important to me. I love his backstory, his personality, his design, how his trauma is handled, his relationship with his father and the rest of his family... But I especially enjoy that despite what happened to him, he never gave up.
