One-man mailbag tomorrow on FFT Dynasty. Anyone have any Dynasty questions?

Heath Cummings @heathcummings.bsky.social · 16/05/2025

If there happened to be a Dynasty analyst/content creator #onhere who would be willing to come on FFT Dynasty today at 11:30 ET that would be pretty cool. Having a heck of a time filling today's show. Happy to promote whatever you have going on on the show.

One of my favorite leagues is @johnbosch.bsky.social Auction Addicts league. We are getting close to finishing our rookie auction and I always like to put the final results in rookie draft order. 1QB TEP Best Ball. Here comes the thread...

I have a few openings in a one-QB startup mock today at 11:30 ET. Who wants to mock?

Heath Cummings @heathcummings.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

Good question, I think he is one of the Day 3 picks I am highest on. Like the player, like the situation. Think he has a chance to contribute without an injury, maybe to a flex level, could be must-start with an injury.

Hey all. Running a SF startup mock at 11:30 ET today on the CBS platform. 60-seconds per pick, probably take around an hour. Have one spot left if anyone wants it.

Wrapping up my first rookie draft. It's a rebuild in a one-QB 0.5 PPR salary cap league. So far 1.01 Ashton Jeanty 1.06 Tetairoa McMillan 2.01 Colston Loveland 2.12 Ollie Gordon 3.01 Kyle Williams Have 3.07 and 4.01 left, who are your favorite sleepers in this range?

Sounding more and more like Travis Hunter is going to be the 1.02 in both the NFL Draft and rookie draft ADP.

I love paying TurboTax a few hundred bucks every year to figure out how much money I owe the government, which the government already knows, but won't tell me because TurboTax pays legislators to keep the government from telling me. 😻

What is the proper etiquette for asking someone if they actually still want to be in your Dynasty league?

590

Heath Cummings @heathcummings.bsky.social · 02/04/2025

Travis Hunter is drafted in the top five and the team that takes him says he will play full-time at wide receiver. How many wide receivers would you rather have than him in Dynasty? Not just in this class, but overall.

Heath Cummings @heathcummings.bsky.social · 19/03/2025

The best reason to ban the tush push is the existence of forward progress. A defensive player is not allowed to push the ball carrier backward, so an offensive player should not be allowed to push the ball carrier forward. Also, that used to be the rule, so we don't have to make up new reasons.

Thinking about rookie drafts and tiers this morning. Here is where I stand as of 3/19: TIER 1 Ashton Jeanty I am expecting top-15 draft capital & a workhorse role in Week 1. Bijan Robinson & Jahmyr Gibbs are the only running backs I would rather have in Dynasty.

Heath Cummings @heathcummings.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

Curious. If you are a true contender in 2025, what is the best 2025 rookie pick you would give up for A.J. Brown? (Pls add polls soon @support.bsky.team)

Twitter being down for the start of NFL free agency really sums up how things are going over there.

Initial thoughts on Geno Smith to Las Vegas... Stabilizing for Bowers, ensures he's clear TE1 A little more risk for JSN next year, but we will see what they do now Small downgrade for Geno for now, but he's still probably a mid-QB2

Heath Cummings @heathcummings.bsky.social · 05/03/2025

Would love to see Tyler Lockett come home to KC & mentor Xavier Worthy, chase a ring. Would have to be a very cheap deal but would be a great veteran fit in a limited role.

Heath Cummings @heathcummings.bsky.social · 05/03/2025

Arguably the two best teams of the past five years & just completely different philosophies as to how to manage the cap. Fascinating.

060

Heath Cummings @heathcummings.bsky.social · 05/03/2025

Eagles' 2027 cap over at @overthecap.bsky.social looks pretty hilarious. Void years already for: (cap number) Bryce Huff ($27.5M) Saquon Barkley ($21.4M) Lane Johnson ($16.5M) CGJ ($14.2M) Chiefs only have three guys under contract for more than $14M per, Mahomes, Jones, & Humphrey.

Heath Cummings @heathcummings.bsky.social · 05/03/2025

My biggest takeaway is that I LOVE early Round 2 in this format right now. NFL Draft could definitely change things, but there may legitimately be 16-18 players I'm excited to add to my team in this class. Will be price-checking late firsts & early seconds in the next couple of months.

Omarion Hampton is a RB prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.78 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 43 out of 1909 RB from 1987 to 2025. Splits projected, times unofficial. ras.football/ras-information/?PlayerID=27244&ovl=Combine
