Not COPD, but makes me think of a dear friend, local to me in our burn-happy rural place, who was an avid walker. He used to walk for miles, often, in our smoke-infused air. He ultimately developed pulmonary fibrosis and died a terrible death. I’ve long thought the wood burning here killed him.
