We are delighted to welcome Dr Ryan McNeil, Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of Harm Reduction Research at Yale School of Medicine, who will speak on “Slow violence and North America’s overdose crisis.”
Dr McNeil’s research examines how social, structural, and environmental forces shape risk and harm among people who use drugs. His work focuses on harm reduction, addiction treatment, supervised consumption services, housing and overdose prevention, and approaches to managing stimulant use disorders. His research has informed policy and practice as harm reduction interventions, including supervised consumption services and safe supply, have expanded.
The seminar is in person only and no registration is required.
