managed to pull off the pixlas mod on my mac pro without blowing anything up! time to ruin the occasion by playing the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Open Beta, which is still open to this day, and has a mac port!

The PCIe chamber of my 2012 mac pro. all hard drive slots are occupied, and a few PCIe cards are installed, but notably among them is a reference AMD RX 6900 XT, with a clearly aftermarket 2x6+2-pin PCIe power cable coming out from the far top left corner of the chamber, leading from the power supply

killzone 2 is damn near unplayable on real hardware because of its input latency, due to running at 30 have you played NFS payback on the xbox one? it's fucking impossible to steer smoothly pretty sure the only reason GTA and RDR/2 get away with it is their movement systems control like a boat

installed fedora KDE on a spare laptop and was perfectly whelmed. a distro of all time. until it randomly kernel panicked when asleep and stopped recognizing the dGPU, but i'm willing to blame that on hardware (either way, macOS was way more stable on that machine (it is not a mac))
