In honor of the upcoming #FatBearWeek, here are a few photos of PhD students @hconwell.bsky.social and Max Zeltsar sampling ~150 historic brown bear specimens at the Smithsonian with our collaborator Michael Campana! 🐻 this was an incredible sampling effort and we can’t wait to share what we find🕵️‍♀️ 🧬
