This was 2017/18 I didn't know about neurodiversity or hyperacusis at the time but have since realised exactly how much of a mental I am 🤣 It has been a lifelong issue, I just didn't realise it was a thing. There's a good chance I'm neurodiverse so that doesn't help. I had a couple of meltdowns because the library is more like a youth club than somewhere to study.
