When your only Couch Multi-player games are fighting games and your had to unlock everything

hazelvandice.bsky.social @hazelvandice.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I honestly don't know because there are so many turn based RPGs, and mostly depends on what you want/seek. Outside the main stream recomendations: Breath of fire 4 for classic PS1 feel, Battlechaser/Ruined King for a comic/manga artstyle. Recent Digimon Story games are also good.

I actually had thought of RPG story where you would play two heroes (Light and Dark powers) that would have separate journeys to a specific place only to reach there and had to fuse to defeat the big Bad. The art looks like what I would have envision in my head

The first time Charlie Chaplin used his voice in a film, he wielded it to forcefully condemn the rising forces of fascism around the globe. Will we listen to his words today?

This is kinda why I have given up on Magic. When I started magic in 2000, the most wacky set was Mirrodin, but it still felt like a Fantasy setting, the art could fit well with other sets, and the lore made things connect more naturally. Now, we get off-brand knockoff and Fortnite cameos.

Nami is Kairi's nobody, but somehow gets the ability to manipulate the memories of all three (Sora, Kairi and Ventus). and can, in a way navigate Castle Oblivion with suffering its effects of memory whipping. Dunno why, but she does. Hopefully, this explains some things, if not just blame Nomura.

020

hazelvandice.bsky.social @hazelvandice.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

Now here is Nomura playing with symbolism and hiding plot trends while games are in development/planning Roxas is Sora's nobody, but gets Ventus appearance to make a sumbolicay a reflection of Vanitas. Xion is also Sora's nobody, but gets kairi appearance because during kh1 there where connected.

130

hazelvandice.bsky.social @hazelvandice.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

While Aqua is putting Ventus somewhere safe,Ven's heart fully merges with Sora's to heal. resulting in Sora having two hearts. in KH1, when Sora rips his heart out to bring Kairi back. He releases 3 hearts resulting in 3 nobodies. Roxas, Namine and Xion (kinda).

100

hazelvandice.bsky.social @hazelvandice.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

Ventus final battle happens in Ven's heart magical arena (the kh1 tutorial place). Vanitas is trying to take control. And from Aqua's point, she sees ventus turning into vanitas, Ven wins by ripping his heart out, destroying vanitas and putting him in a comma.

100

hazelvandice.bsky.social @hazelvandice.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

One piece stays with Ven's body, and the other gets connected to Sora, healing Ven enough to get back up but with amnesia. During the events BBS, he gets his memories back. When Xehanort explains that Vanitas is Ven's dark self, he looks like Sora, because of the connection Ven and Sora have.

100

hazelvandice.bsky.social @hazelvandice.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

So since you got confused why Ven and Sora are linked and why Roxas and Vanitas look like the other's clone let me try explain. Ven was Xehanorts' student before Eraqus. He trained Ventus to open Kingdom Hearts, but the training for Ven to get the "Darkness" broke his heart.

It is implied that her dad is the teacher bot that appears throughout the show. during the prom, Lizzy threatens the class to clap by saying ("Or my father will dock your grades!").

I assume that you stopped midway. But I encourage you to keep up because it will explain what Xion is and how Roxas was put in Fake Twilight town. Also, I have been enjoying reading your reactions :D
