In the mid-80s to 90s, I think it was basically right next to the current store, had windows out to the parking lot. Made it a very well lit record store. Funny the mall has both a Sunrise, and a Sam's in it. Not sure how many malls remain with 2 record stores.

Owner (also a retired High School teacher) had 3 in Belleville, and 1 in Trenton (maybe more?) in the 80s. I think there is confusion if he can transfer the name, if he sells the business. Not sure who actually owns the name these days.

Fun start to another kid's hockey season! Always great to see families we know from from other hockey organizations, areas, & lacrosse. 3rd place in tournament, & another game on Wednesday. Players, Coaches, & Parents have a wonderful established culture. Made the correct team choice.

I would actually cheer for a break. A break will heal in 6-8 weeks, and you're good. A (bad) sprain will never fully heal, and makes re-injury almost a guarantee, with chances of each being worse than the previous. Experience talking. Good luck!

If this moves forward, I can only hope that the 'investment' is done by something like the Canada Pension Plan, which owns a (thin) majority of the 407. At the least, it would benefit Canadians, not foreign corporations.

Sept 11, 2001 Took a flight from Toronto to Cleveland. For meeting at automotive plant in Ohio. Was a crazy day, meeting was cancelled. I actually drove back to Toronto in my rental car, before borders were shut. Canada customs asked if I was shopping on my return. Didn't see images until home.
