Some comic books I read last week. The Generic Comic Book wasn’t very good, unfortunately

Life With Archie #36 Variant

The Death of Archie

Marvel Generic Comic Book #1
Type: Super-hero action-adventure

This comic contains: One neurotic Super-Hero type with a variety of personal problems; one bad-guy bent on world domination through arcane means; assorted villainous henchmen-people; the hero’s nefarious employer, pathetic family, and well-endowed girlfriend; a plot containing a conflict, a subplot, a resolution, a plot twist, and as many fights as it takes to fill up the rest of the pages.

TMNT: Journeys #12 Raphael fights some vampires, and Donatello is about to meet some talking raptors. Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories, Vol. 9, No. 4, Canadian Edition from January 1949 This is the oldest comic book in my collection. It’s the Canadian edition of Walt Disney Comics and Stories #100, and uses the cover from #89, but it has different stories than either of those issues

Donald Duck is running down a snowy hill with his eyes close while holding a sled, meaning to jump on it and slide down. Unbeknownst to Donald, Huey and Dewey have tied Donald’s sled to a tree with a rope. Louie is looking at this situation and is holding his hat over his chest
