Looks great! I normally wet the paper on both sides and lay under a dish towel to remove water then print when the paper is damp. I don't have a press so it helps printing by hand.

You should try it. I only have basic tools so far and used MDF but it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be and no pain after😅. It's not as easy as lino and I didn't get as good details but that's probably because of my lack of skills and the tools. Will definitely try some more.
