Clarification on this. Guess they don’t charge for to go boxes, it’s a “packaging fee” for take out orders of 5%. But this situation a large fam came in to eat. At the end they ordered takeout for another fam member. But the restaurant added the 5% to the whole order.

There are trees and power poles down all across the metro area from the storms that hit last night. Yet there was never a warning issued for any of the storms. This has to be a reflection of the cutbacks to the NWS because there is no way non-severe winds could’ve caused this damage.

My first concert that I went to (as opposed to going with my parents) was Ozzy in Hilton Coliseum with opening acts Deftones and Korn. I believe it was February 1996. I would go on to see him again later that year in Cedar Rapids and then again in 97 when he reunited with Sabbath at OzzFest.

Those storms really did a number on my tomato plants. Not happy about that. Luckily no damage otherwise which is crazy because those storms were intense. My house was making creaking noises I’ve never heard before.
