FINALLY finished this zine about autumn blooming flowers to plant for insects, which is also trying to be gentle to people who really like their fall chrysanthemums.
Front cover of mini-zine. Text reads, "Love mums, but want to support pollinators too?" Also two drawi gs of potted chrysanthemums and at the bottom, a drawing of a monarch butterfly on a purple flower, most likely new England aster.

I was obsessed with Eileen Galvin from Silent Hill 4: the room this past summer. Games never been re-released but the way it deals with the theme of self imposed isolation feels ever more relevant.
Collection of 6 sketches of Silent Hill video ge character Eileen Galvin, with one cartoony style drawing of Silent Hill's Henry Townshend holding an axe.

Posted these on my Instagram, they were drawings for inactive cards in the DnD campaign we were doing last year.

My cat butch from the pfp has always been a quiet purr-er. RN, he's sitting on me, drooling, and for the first time I can audibly hear him purring

Penultimate drawing from my first zine. Loving the snow, but I'll be looking for these guys in March and April.
Drawing of the flower yellow trout lily, a woodland spring ephemeral flower. Yellow flower with spotted leaves. Scientific name Erythronium americanum. Text reads: Found on forest floors. Blooms April to May. Some of the earliest flowers to bloom in spring. Spotted leaves are a deterrent to deer browse.

Page from a zine I'm intermittently working on about fall blooming flowers for pollinators, in an attempt to get people not to just buy mums. Feels a little indulgent to make, but I do like these asters and they DO look good with monarchs #nativeplants #botanicalart #zine

Another page from the plant zine I made as an excuse to learn how to make zines. We'll see these bad boys soon #skunkcabbage #symlocarpusfoetidus
A drawing of the plant eastern skunk cabbage. Shows the flower, spadex, leaves, and flies buzzing around it. Text reads: Eastern Skunk Cabbage. Blooms Febr to April. They can generate their own heat. They can melt snow. Bright green leaves in summer. Looks like forest mustard greens.
