Four days into being a K-5 librarian I can tell I am going to have some great stories. Today one of my first grade classes was confident that I had gotten a haircut and bangs since I saw them yesterday. 😂 I did not get a haircut and have had bangs for as long as I can remember.

I just ran into one of my former 4th graders at Target on the eve of my last day as a 4th grade teacher. She told her fiancé that mine was her favorite class. 😭 I am excited for my move to the school library but will miss 4th grade.

Walking into Carver last fall @amaskeberka.bsky.social had a roster with names, numbers, and photos. We certainly needed it. By the end of that first game we had learned all the names. Sitting in Carver we had no idea how the season would go, but I don’t think I would have ever envisioned this run.💛
