I realize just now that maybe the reason why I'm not enjoying YouTube is because I'm not doing what I already love. I loved the Writing Battle. The only thing that killed the motivation was the comments on YouTube. How to fix this? 🤔 💭 ⁉️

I had a chance to try out another creatives incubator product and it started Oct 1st. It is now Oct 4th and I no longer feel that this was a good investment or a good choice.

I'm starting to think this YouTube thing isn't worth is because now I'm starting to get more compaints. My last video had my better mic and someone complained about it. I'm sorry that my sound quality is terrible but I'm poor and have no space to work from. I'm working with what I've got.

One of the strangest comments I've gotten on YouTube short from 2024 and was a one-line reading of a #VSS365 challenge here on Bluesky. As far as I can tell the person is only on Twitter but still I'm not sure what they meant by this. Blocked name and profile pic out of respect. #WritingCommunity

The disk in Julian’s hands felt light as a feather. He spun it on his finger as he walked down the hall. Fumbled to catch it when it wobbled off, almost hitting the ground. A disk this old had to be pretty delicate. This was an item of the 2000s. Old and obsolete. 1/5

That moment when you dig so deep into folklore and myth that you find a goddess that mirrors the one in your story. I'm floored! Similar lantern. Similar staff. Deer horns similar to Elk horns. I had no idea this goddess existed. I'll be studying more for inspiration, #WritingCommunity.
