Hurricane Isaias is making a mess of things so our np/nk shelter is closed tomorrow to the public. We couldn't get fosters for the smallest most vulnerable kittens so some staff took kittens home I took 4 of them. 3 of my animals love them. One does not & just hides 🫣 Early #SaturdayCaturday

I'm not much of a drinker, I drink beer when I make vegetarian chili. I also use beer in the chili in winter & only consume rum in cake Tonight I crave rum cake My "secret" recipe Ingredients - box cake & a big ass bottle of rum Bake & crumble cake & pour rum on top It's not fancy but it's yummy

Yesterday I woke up to this goof like this. Meet Elliott. He goes by Ellie most times. That's because when he was a kitten I thought he was a girl so I named "her" Ellie May then "her" testicles showed up under the fluff so I renamed him Elliott Page (for Elliot Page) in honor of him transitioning

I work at a np nk animal shelter When I foster kittens my girl cat who I adopted from that shelter will hiss at the playpen of kittens & pout at them, my boy cat who was a stray little fluff ball will look over them like he was their father Quinn is all I had my tubes tied, take the hint no kittens

Elliot on the left is so paternal to foster kittens & Quinn is a hissy little pouty girl to them & wants nothing more for them to leave her sight & her home but otherwise is so loving and sweet but she's all motherhood is not for me that's why I got my tubes tied when I was 2 months old!

My hair was down to my waist & in Nov 2024 the back of my head was shaved completely bald 1/2 way up the back of my head for a 5 lvl cervical spinal fusion then I got cancer & I cut my hair 2 my chin bc it was thin from being shaved It's now past my shldrs looks like shit tonight, no new pic but yay

My hair is short bc of cutting it due to cervical spinal fusion bc of the back of my head having to get shaved for the surgery.

My Piper is 6 today 🥳🎉🎂 She's still little, 5 1/2 lbs, but look how very little she was at 8 weeks old and 10-12 weeks old (the last 4 photos) So tiny. Her head was so big compared to her body I was worried she'd tip over all of the time 🤭 #Dog #Birthday
