I guess he took "flood the zone" literally with 3.7m pieces of paper, hoping no one would look at all of them and see anything missing.

My favorite line from that movie is “I say we take off and nuke it from orbit… it’s the only way to be sure”

In the "good news" category this week (to counteract all the bad): www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026... Some really good lessons to learn here, and I'm so glad they were successful.

“Turbo Tax’s Parent Company” is Intuit. Just say the word, dancing around it is weak and makes you look complicit or at least willing to look the other way.

Leverage and Grimm both filmed in and around Portland— although sometimes Portland became Boston for Leverage which was really weird.

I have a friend who won three years in a row— they really worked hard on the engineering of their vehicles, and the speed was mind blowing!

“Unexplained”?? Cruz is a republican, and they always want to screw over democrats whenever possible. It’s not unexplained at all, OPB, and you know that.

They think that letting kids read books about two mommies or two daddies will turn their kids gay or something. Also that having drag queens read books will make their kids drag queens, or something-- don't really get that. They are STEEPED in the idea that exposure = you become that thing.

We don't notice it in older groups because we aren't being diagnosed with it. Variety of reasons: no time, money, or reason to go get diagnosed, espec. from GenX/Millenial folks who have been dealing with it for decades.

I find it helps to be really, deeply depressed about a lot of things. It’s weird but a lot of my most complicated knits are done when I’m having a mental health problem. Like I’m trying to work through it with complicated patterns. (I know, a therapist would be a help)

Wonder if everyone who worked or works a W2 job (or is self-employed and pays SE taxes) can get together on a massive class-action lawsuit and get our Social Security money back, since the whole premise was that we would get it back when we retire. Anyone want to go with me on this? Lawyers?
