#2 I see that amount of new code as part of the problem. Because my refactoring capabilities are limited, I can refactor only finite amount of code. LLMs are capable of generating is larger than amount of code I can read and refactor.

While I mostly agree I see 2 points there: #1 After you fucked up writing first time, you will learn something new and probably you will be able to recall it from memory when doing that next time. LLMs do not have that capability without extra tools or using new model.

Small mistake, previous post assumed it was about surnames/last names while it is about first names. That changes nothing though. What is more - as a woman names are often more similar to their English counterparts - it is a little bit biased against male Polish first names.

One correction - English White names. I have tested my own surname and some other Polish surnames, it was rated no better than Black-associated names. In addition I have noticed that in cases when there is different surname for man and woman (in Poland surnames are gendered), woman had worse score.

Yeah, I agree that this is playing a game of chance. We of course can use non-wall clock to avoid that problem, but in the end I do not think that there is "always work" solution. Distributed systems are hard :D

Dead object would be deleted only if it is older than some threshold. Still not perfect, but would be "good enough" for almost all practical purposes.

If I cannot have some callbacks in object storage, or I would not want to have too complex system, then I would use GC approach mentioned there. To resolve the issue mentioned there I would use simple trick - delay deletion of dead objects depending on the time.

The problem I had was that if you wanted to have shared process pool with it, then you need to use message passing on each checkout and checkin. For most usecases that is fine, but when I was working on Postgres pooler with transaction pooling, then it added up and was taking up to 25% of reductions

The thing is, that I do not really want to get size of the queue that often. Most of the time the only information that I care about is whether queue is empty or not, and that one can be done fast with this implementation.

And when you get to the interview it means shit. My experience with current recruiters is the worst. Like I went through the 5 steps of the interview and I got rejection with "due to the volume of applications we will not provide feedback". Fortunately I am an European, so they can suck it.

Last one makes me kind of sad, because if that would be lazily evaluate, then it would make much easier to make custom colour schemes using variables and relative colours. You could have ```css --base: rebeccapurple; --compl: oklch(from var(--base) l c calc(h + 180deg))u; ``` But that will not work

Per GDPR Art. 22 you should not be an object of automatic rejection. Every rejection should be made by human. So if you get a rejection within minutes after your application, then for sure you can ask for a details how that decision was made. Do not let yourself to be pushover - USE YOUR RIGHTS
