A practice in foreshortening as well as getting two characters next to one another.

Pillowsledder is one of, if not, my absolute biggest inspirations. I've been drawing since he started motivating me to and I'm so happy to see him come such a long way.

@hatteamepic.bsky.social's been #streaming #FinalFantasy7 with his fiance. I made this #digitalart #Commission for him. He's live today @ 7PM EST Wed-Sun here: www.twitch.tv/hatteamepic www.youtube.com/@HatTeamEpic Hope to see ya #Art #FinalFantasy #VTuber #stream #CSP #FF7 #Artsky #supportartists

Hat Strife fights SephiRil as AeRinth prays in the background. A friend of mine has been currently streaming the Ps1 version of FF7 with his fiance. He's also streaming a variety of random games for his Summer Roadtrip event.

If you feel like it, you can tune in at 7PM EST, Wednesdays through Sundays (currently). It'd be cool to see new faces.

HTE, the streamer, is Cloud Strife while his Fiance, Rin, is Aerith. Ril, a chaotic chat member in the community is none other than the big bad, Sephiroth. His menacing cutesy smile can pierce anyone's confidence. Or maybe that's his absurdly long katana. Who's to say?

Probably the best thing I streamed all year. Such a blast to see such goofy shit happen.

Based off of @hatteamepic.bsky.social wacky #miitopia streams, here's some #digitalart representing some key points in the journey. There's a plan to do more, but we'll see. Check the alt text for context. #stream #artpost #supportartists #Miku #Nintendo #DeusEx #silly #Mario #ClipStudioPaint #CSP

Based off of the first of many Miitopia streams, our heroes first adventures came to an end after saving Jesus's face. The team in question was lead by the hat enthusiast wizard himself, HTE! Following him was the team's spirit, Hatsune Miku, Ril, the traveling priest and lore master, and Pillow (Hey, that's me!), the timid chef and Mario cosplayer.

Lore-wise, each image is drawn by Ril as a means to cataloguing the events of everyone's adventures together. What's he up to anyway?

A realistic rendition of the original HTE team. Little did we know Ril was a magical girl the whole time. He looks majestic! Miku's hair flows in the wind behind the group almost like she's the glue that holds everyone together. HTE looks up to the sky with a triumphant visage in his righteous quest to save Miitopia. As you can see Pillow's Mario nose is not real, but in the heat of battle sometimes he truly does believe he's the beloved fictional hero.

Turns out the realistic interpretations of the HTE party was painted by JC Denton from Deus Ex! Who knew he was so talented? JC is one of the many royal guards of the castle. Meanwhile princess Neko Arc looks towards the viewer with intensity.

HTE's friends have been captured! What will happen now that he's powerless and all alone? Will anybody rise to this unexpected occasion? Those are some peculiarly interesting items scattered about, but what do they mean?

I don't have anyone to tag because I barely use Bluesky .-. That said, Domon Kasshu is the MAN.

People mentioned this #sketch looks like something from #Signalis. Wasn't my intention but it's a very nice thing to hear nonetheless!

Yeah, I decided to draw some #pixelart of Peach. My approach was inspired by the Adventures comic. Sorry, I broke the size limit for fun instead. She's like, "Seeya! I'm outta here!" looking back at her captors as she jumps out a window. #pixelartist #aseprite #artpost #retro #NES #8bit #Mario

The classic Princess Toadstool sprite Super Mario Brothers. Red hair and a white dress has always been particularly interesting design choice that probably had something to do with limited color palettes. She rocks it, though!

My resprite edit. I decided to break the sprite's size limit. While technically possible on the NES (this fits within a 32x32 tile size) I just wanted to have fun and show off much like the pose I decided to go with. Actually, it was how the original sprite's hands that inspired the whole thing. What was supposed to be a dainty expression comes off as a finger pointing, "EYYYYYY!"

I decided to mix Peach's typically blonde hair with the red in the hair style she regularly adorns. She wears white earrings and bracelets to match her white dress. I also emphasized her eyelashes and tried making her lips bump out to be a noticeable design quirk. She also wears red high heels much like her Super Show counterpart.

Oh, hey, I drew this emote for @hatteamepic.bsky.social's streams. Community member Ril gave me another #commission. You too can use it to express your anger over at www.twitch.tv/hatteamepic. He streams 7-9PM EST Wednesday-Saturday. #supportartists #pixelart #clipstudio #art #Vtuber

Full render of the line-less and lined version of the angry Hat Team Epic emote drawn in Clip Studio.

A small works in progress for the 26x26 pixel version of the emote drawn in Aseprite.

The "discover" button on BlueSky is the equivalent of random NPC dialogue out in the wild of an open world game. Just very random dialogues from different people.

#Repostober day 24 I practiced using a blend tool in CSP by drawing an excited Wooloo emote for @hatteamepic.bsky.social. Lots of silliness to be had in HTE's streams. I co-hosted one and drew a viewer requested picture, too. Check 'em out! #art #supportartists #pokemon #pixelart #pixelartist

A very gleeful Wooloo. I came up with the idea of this emote since HTE likes Wooloos and needed a sort of HYPE emote. There is a feeling of silliness about it that makes it more than just a hype emote, which was my goal.

Wooloo's Twitch emote size blurred a lot of details, so I went in to clean them up in the form of a sprite on the right side. It's much easier to recognize Wooloo's shapes and details don't you think?

A viewer looks down upon HTE with child-like glee. They have ears of a goblin and a fishbowl perched atop their head. Inside the bowl is cereal and a Patrat from the fifth generation of Pokemon. Patrat holds a spoon presumably to eat the cereal. The viewer's absolute glee is juxtaposed by HTE's saddened demeanor.
