Oh yeah, I'm really sorry to hear about Kavinsky. I really didn't know him at all besides Nightcall but that's a lovely tune and Drive felt like a lovely movie at the time, not sure if it holds up well but I'd be willing to bet. Sad to hear the news

Happy about the Drukqs repress. I had bought it on CD recently, but it's a good investment to get these Aphex represses on wax. Musically it's always a lovely adventure. Drukqs is great! Very unique. I called the record shop today. They had no idea about the announcement, but said they'd get copies.

Inferno opinions: Its quite nice. The music is quality. Sits proudly alongside their other albums. The deluxe edition I felt was especially generous: twenty six frames of high quality art that was compelling and added to the experience. Plus a bonus flexi disk. I remember being hyped about this album as a young teenager. The self titled dropped on us like a bomb when it came out so there really couldn't be any larger hype for the second one. I remember loving it, and still do.

Lord Of The Rings is really big for my elderly father. He's read it 50+ times, so yeah obsession status. He gave me his beautiful copies of The Hobbit and LoTR but I always stall out at the same place in The Two Towers, so I've never finished LoTR. I want to before my dad dies. Now, between jobs?
