A canal-side walk being a genuine method of getting from point A to B is one of the best things about living in East London! 🌞

Images of gridlocked traffic on eight-lane highways are synonymous with Los Angeles — maybe that’s why I had no idea it has such an extensive metro network (with big expansion plans on the horizon)! 🚇

Went to my first ever local planning meeting to discuss the future of the Tesco site on Morning Lane — acquired by Hackney Council in 2017. I ended up doing much more listening than talking in the end, but it was great to take part in the conversation and advocate for more dense house-building. 🏗️

Guess who just passed their #drivingtest on the first try? Hint: it's me! 🙌 Happy it's done, but I will miss hearing older friends and family react in horror to the price of lessons nowadays (usually followed by telling me how little they used to cost back in their day). 🤯

1/ Shortly before Christmas, I popped to my local Aldi to buy a new tub of Cadbury’s #hotchocolate powder (not instant — the kind that takes milk). ☕️ Sadly, I left the shop empty-handed. No matter, I thought! I decided to try my luck at Iceland round the corner. Still, no luck…

I had a great time working with on this #photography assignment for @hyphenonline.com — it was a rare trip south of the river for me as we went to meet TikTok tailor Ridwan Fadlu-Deen, known online as Riddz. Spent the day following him through his process of customising a pair of vintage jeans. ✂️

You think we’d all be tired of elections after 2024, right? Well, you’re wrong. One of the last films I watched last year was Conclave — and I loved it! A fascinating look into the papal election process in the modern age. All photographers should watch it for the compositions + colours alone.

I’m really looking forward to watching Fury and Usyk battle it out in the rematch, but not as much as I’m looking forward to never seeing this ad again! Sums up the state of #copywriting in the age of ChatGPT. 🤮
