Taco is at home, doing OK, antiseizure meds twice a day for life. Gene is still at the vet, but he's improving. Looks like the vet was right about the inner ear infection. I.. however, am not doing well. Not well at all.

Getting Taco discharged later, and gonna speak to the vet about Gene's prognosis.

Hello, taco is doing ok. So far we did not observe any seizures.
Gene seems to be more coordinated. We are treating him for a ear infection. Usually when it's a ear infection that was causing the incoordination, the medication needs to be given for atleast a month.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I have really been struggling with my own health issues. Gene and Taco are at Gasing Vet until this Saturday. Will post a more proper update soon.

Didn't expect to be doing this again so soon, but if anyone can help, one of my rescue kittens needs a neurological assessment. Gene is currently at Subang Vet for observation, but I will need to bring him to Gasing Vet for a proper neurological assessment. 1/3

It's weird how strangers are so comfortable asking why I am not married. Do you really want to spend the time unpacking how hard it was growing up the eldest in a single parent family? Really?

I should be sleeping, but apparently, it is possible to be too tired to sleep.

Future rescue. Sibling kitten has already disappeared, and mama is already pregnant. *Sigh*

It's close to midnight and... Something evil's lurking in the dark... Under the moonlight, you see a sight that almost stops your heart...

Whitey asleep on the floor, with his forepaws held up and forwards.

Some are suggesting you deliberately write inaccurate or confusing alt text, because they say this confuses AI scrapers that are analyzing images. The purpose of alt text is to help people who cannot see the image. Deliberately misrepresenting the image is a gross misuse of alt text. Don't do it.

A little sad. One of the kedai makan kittens died. Can't save all of them.

Hello friends. Not sure how much traction I'll get here, but I'm desperate. My situation has gotten quite dire, so I'm reaching out for mutual aid. I am very sorry to be asking. I'm fine with missing meals, but not for my cats and rescues.

I'm completely out of cat food and litter and I hope to raise RM300 to cover:
- 2 large bags of litter
- Assorted wet food (Aristo-Cat, Felix, Snappy Tom - both pate and broth) to cater for cats without teeth/oral health issues (I mix the more premium food with cheaper to stretch it out)
- prescription diet kibble (Hill's) for a couple of the strays with digestive issues.

This should cover me for the next few days while I figure out my next steps. I have ongoing work and income coming, and things are getting better for me, but I am still struggling with the gaps between client payments.

If you can help, my account is CIMB 7600583266.

However, if you can't help, it's ok. I understand things are tough all round, and you've probably assisted me a few times already. Please don't judge me harshly for asking for help. Thank you.

Gene is at the extremely adorable stage of kittenhood. Hopefully I can get his vaccination started soon, so I can introduce him to the other downstairs kitties.

Your site's users need enough time to interact with content and fill out forms. People with disabilities such as blindness, low vision, dexterity impairments, and cognitive disabilities might need more time for things such as forms. Allow users to turn off or extend time limits.

Mama Starfire has been spayed, and will spend a few days with me as she recovers. Ideally, she gets rehomed too, but I don't have capacity to foster her.

I got Gene's mama. I named her Starfire, and she's at the vet for spaying, to be discharged on Friday.

I liked Lanterns. Saying this as someone who is very late to (streaming) series like True Detective (I just watched all the seasons last week) and others in the same vein. I grew up with Hal as my Green Lantern, and it's nice to see him as an asshole.

Gene (I think) was very good last night. Used the litter box, didn't leave me any surprises. His eyes have cleared up, but he's still sneezing. Heading to the vet in a bit.

Kimba is a very interesting cat. He escaped from indoor isolation after the surgery to reconstruct his diaphragm over a month ago, and now he's coming indoors, getting all angry because a toy isn't where it's supposed to be.
