Village in the Shade has already been released on Steam (in July, I think). But the English (or French) localisation is coming out this Tuesday. I was a bit too impatient, so I’ve just bought the game (I’m heading for bankruptcy, I know). #VideoGames #Horror #Simulation #Adventure

The October game that I’m most hyped about isn’t Final Fantasy Resonance (though I did buy it anyway). No, it’s that mysterious Village in the Shade that’s piqued my curiosity the most. It’s been a long time since Nippon Ichi Soft. last managed to impress me 🤩 www.nisamerica.com/village-in-t...

After some serious hesitation, I decided to delete my Facebook account. For years, I’d held off because it allowed me to ‘keep in touch’ with my family on Réunion Island. So yes, it’ll be a bit of a nuisance when it comes to spy- errr getting news, but never mind. I had to do it.

An update on poor Plume 🐈 It’s not a dental problem for my poor cat after all. It’s early-stage kidney failure and, above all, hyperthyroidism. She’s on medication, but I’m worried: in five weeks, she’s lost another 15 per cent of her former body weight... 😨 #Cats #Pets

The True End of #AkibaLost... It's so ridiculous that it’s actually funny : so many wild and crazy plot twists 🤣 But apart from that, I’d give it an 8/10. It’s a lovely tribute to 428 Shibuya Scramble. And most of the characters are slyly developed 😉 #VisualNovel #VideoGames #SealOfApproval

Shinjo Daiki, the only male protagonist.

Kokone : she's more than an overambitious underground idol.

Koemanda, one of the many secondary characters. Maybe the best.

And there’s something I find amusing (and well done), which is that my opinion of each of the main characters has changed. Sometimes drastically. Behind the façade, behind the archetype (the maid, the idol, the miko, the cosplayer…) there’s often something completely different hiding… #AkibaLost

Haruaki Fusaishi ⚛️🐱 @haruakifusaishi.mu.social · 01/10/2026

Seriously, they’re going a bit overboard with the flashbacks in #AKIBALOST. I get the feeling they’re taking the reader/player for a fool with a goldfish’s memory🐟 That said, I’m still having a brilliant time. In fact, I’m nearing the end (Day 6/7, PM). #VisualNovel #FMV #VideoGames
