The phase-out of NTLM has moved from "best practice" to a timeline. For infrastructure architects, the grace period is ending. The roadmap is clear. We are moving from enhanced auditing to disabled-by-default stance in the next version of Windows Server. Stop treating NTLM as a permanent fixture!
