it's like I was borrowing it from the future and now I'm paying for it. It chewed me out and burned me out so badly and, given that I was already chronically burnt out, left me running on fumes. Being unable to create for myself and being unable to create for others caused an identity crisis.

I've been thinking abt this since yesterday. Reading (as a hobby) is not a job. You do it because you like it. But, at the same time, it's supposed to be challenging.
