Preseason is preseason, but I am excited to see what Jaylen Brown looks like with a bright green light. Him being able to scale up when needed is a huge part of the Sixers’ equation this season, imo.

Thankful to see another year of life. I can’t wait to see what this next year holds, I believe it’ll be the best yet. Thank you to those who reached out to me!

Looks like the NBA is soft launching NBA Cup jerseys. Let’s hope they’re not as bad as the courts.

Tyrese Maxey has worked out with quite a few teammates this summer. Add VJ Edgecombe and rookie Labaron Philon to the list

Kevin Love to the 76ers? For now, probably not. However there’s a good chance it could happen in the coming months. www.libertyballers.com/76ers-news/9...

Probably the best analysis I’ve seen on the LeBron-To-Philly thing to date. Really good stuff here

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Curious to see which second rounder that is. It’s hard to predict the value of those, moving forward, however. Good news is they won’t take a long-term cap hit now — and yes, every bit of money under the apron helps.

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Barring a surprise trade, seems like Broome gets waived and stretched. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s brought back on a two-way if he clears waivers. Otherwise, plenty of ways to fill that final two-way slot.

The Philadelphia 76ers have officially signed LeBron James, per the league’s transaction log.

1346

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

This team will need time, game reps, and chemistry building, but Gansey made smart additions with Anfernee Simons (who’s had good success with Jaylen Brown) and KCP (who’s had championship success with LeBron). In the short term, that should help ease some growing pains.

1131

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

Every major NBA podcast be like: “The 76ers signed LeBron! So I brought on a guy who hates Joel Embiid to talk about it.”

58210

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

Think KCP’s best days are behind him but I don’t mind this as an end-of-bench addition. Low usage guy who can defend and hit shots.

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

Dean Wade, Dominick Barlow, Adem Bona, and Ariel Hukporti are a decent group to fill the ‘big frame who plays really hard’ role.

Mike Gansey signed LeBron and D. Wade in his first year as an executive. Wow.

1130

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

In a way, the Sixers turned Paul George, two first round picks, and two second round picks into Jaylen Brown which indirectly also led to LeBron James on a minimum. Absolutely bonkers.

It appears Mr. James is golfing in NJ today

3102

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

I totally get the eye test stuff, but Johni Broome just produces. 23 & 11 today, after a 19 & 13 game. He was a +18 across both games.

381

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Labaron Philon looks nothing like a typical mid-to-late first round pick. 24 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, and a steal in his second game on better efficiency. Thought his offensive process (again) was good. Sixers got some serious options in their backcourt rotation, man.

2150

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

The iceberg runs deep on this (IYKYK) but man is this another one of contracts that makes Anfernee Simons’ deal look like a great value

080

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

1/ That was a fun Summer League game! Some quick thoughts 🧵 2/ Philon looked good. The handle and the reads out of the PnR stood out. Shot didn’t fall, but I liked what I saw.

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

Issac Johnson with 11 points, and 3 made threes in 3:52 of play.

120

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

This is a big summer league for Broome, and so far he’s produced well. 7 points, 4 rebounds, and a block. He was a +8. Dante Maddox has been the other early standout, with 10 points and a steal.

052

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

Labaron Philon with two quick three pointers. Both looked fluid and had good arc on them. Good start for the rookie.

Ebuka Okorie vs Labaron Philon 🔥 this will be fun!

010

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

Labaron Philon hoops this evening! Other Summer Sixers I’ll be watching closely include Johni Broome, Duke Miles, and Issac Johnson, the last of which has a chance to make that final two-way spot if he balls out like he did at Hawaii.

2111

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Bob Myers making an appearance on that podcast is a pretty fascinating move. There’s quite a bit to takeaway from that.

181

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Gonna need the Sixers to run a lineup with Maxey-Philon-VJ-Brown so we can see 0, 00, 77, and 7 on the court at the same time.

0275

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Looks like VJ’s sticking with 77

150

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

From a background or off the court standpoint I get LeBron going back to Cleveland, especially if it’s his last year. From a basketball standpoint, I don’t get it, nor does it fall in line with what they’ve been preaching. Not sure how 3 high usage on-ball guys will work.

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Going from like 5.5 playable players to a backcourt rotation of Maxey, Edgecombe, Simons, and Philon with a splash of Caleb Love is going seriously help the Sixers. That’s a ton of offensive juice at their disposal. www.libertyballers.com/76ers-free-a...

Report: Sixers sign Caleb Love to two-way contract

Another two-way signing and the Sixers have just one slot left.

0134

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Without getting too in the weeds, the Jaylen Brown move boils down to one question: would you rather bet on a 29 year old Jaylen Brown improving or maintaining his All-NBA production from last season, or on a 36 year old Paul George? Either way, you’re paying a ton of money.

2110

Harrison Grimm @harrisongrimm.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

Sixers used the full MLE well between Dean Wade and Anfernee Simons. Think those are two quality rotation pieces, which is about as good as you could hope for.
