All three projects I'm working on are looking incredible. Feeling incredibly lucky to be involved in such cool projects right now.

There's some kinda irony about a YouTube ad for refillable/reusable water filters using that one dumbass AI voice. Im still mad about the amount of ads I get. No I will not pay for premium.

I have been playing maybe entirely too much of Dressmaker, and its just been delightful.

Im about halfway through watching someone play Townfall and I have theories which may or may not be accurate. Enjoying it though! (I am too baby to actually play it, I would get nowhere)

My phone auto connects to our car but for some reason plays whatever sound I have going on at all including Instagram, so every morning before husband goes to work he never knows if its going to be rain noises, ducks, or someone screaming while playing horror games. Keeping it fun for him.

Husband is claiming I own too many mugs. Sounds fake tbh.

Mine is Hannibal. Spent a bunch of the day watching it and went to a tiny local bakery, please witness the absolute monster of a cinnamon twist I purchased.

I watched the recent Silent Hill film... I didn't hate the other ones, they were pretty cheesy but not the absolute worst. Return to Silent Hill is so heavy handed and just bad even for bad film standards? I miss ambiguous unreliable narrators. Wild.

Hello friends please look at the amazing project I'm working on 💚🤖

I refuse to not engage in spookiness in September, the lead up to my birthday requires it. So puzzle about witches while I watch horror things it is.

Jigsaw puzzle about the history of the witch trials

I love declaring that I am back on my bullshit as if said bullshit isnt just video games, puzzles and reading books.

000

Harriet Ainsley-Jones @harrietaj.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Exciting stuff is going on in all three of the projects I'm on at the moment. Its just so nice to be part of these teams 💚

010

Harriet Ainsley-Jones @harrietaj.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

I feel like I need to wander around a bookshop and pick something up, my reality is my irl to be read list is already an entire tower. And the top three I picked up at the weekend...

Harriet Ainsley-Jones @harrietaj.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Due to my habits of watching YouTube videos of the drama of other YouTube people I have no idea about I get a lot of ads. Even if I've bought from a place before. The moment they have an ad with that dumbass AI voice I'm done. They have proper voiced ads too so I don't get the choice.

Harriet Ainsley-Jones @harrietaj.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Apparently folk are pressed that the new Fable is 'only' 20ish hours of main story and the same for side content, and I'm like...so glad I might actually finish the game instead of abandoning it.

I booked myself in for driving lessons again, after first trying to learn years ago when I was still living in London. Living in the countryside is finally going to force me to learn. Im kinda mad about it.

Im back on my puzzle bullshit for the first time in a long while. This time Odyssey themed. It felt correct.

010

Harriet Ainsley-Jones @harrietaj.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Finally saw The Odyssey and really enjoyed it, loved the casting choices, got weirdly annoyed at some things but thats nerd life. Husband called me a mega nerd because we saw a trailer for something called The Uprising and I said I bet its about Wat Tyler and the peasants revolt. And it is lol

Sometimes I worry that I'm not going to hit my reading goal for the year. Then I check and I'm six books ahead of schedule 😬

130

Harriet Ainsley-Jones @harrietaj.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

Oh...really sad to see the news that one of my favourite authors, Keigo Higashino, has died. The Devotion of Suspect X is one of my favourite books but I've enjoyed all the books of his that I've read.

000

Harriet Ainsley-Jones @harrietaj.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Being involved with multiple projects from early development right now is really fun but pretty different from joining something established and live, but seeing all the work come together is wonderful. Really am lucky to be working with some amazing teams right now.
