Last night, I almost went 3 and 1, but a clutch moby dick stage card into beefing up the red ace leader won them the game after bege froze their second to last swing, AND they top decked 10 drop newgate. It was also super clutch, but when I have a goal, it's nice to actually meet it. Feeling good.

I was able to successfully get some 3 pack blisters and some booster bundles for chaos rising and pitch black, and they came in so beat up lmao. Target and other big box places won't get it to your door with TLC lol. It simply "gets to your door." It's good for people that want to crack it, though!

One of the LGS's that I frequent screwed up their starter deck party and over sold their decks. Nice. They said it's now "bring your own deck" to their event...which will create an incredibly unfair "red and green only" zone, lol. Guess I'll just stay home. Not worth it to waste my time all mad.

Went to the one piece tcg starter deck event, and I went 2-2 with my randomized yellow kid deck. Not bad. I do wish I'd gotten that winner card, but that was reserved for the green zorro and red luffy that topped, lmao Won against purple enel and black Sabo. Lost against green zorro and a sabo.

It's almost bittersweet to be saying goodbye to my switch 1 because it's a launch model and was my duo pretty much until the battery only lasted for 20 minutes and I bought a steam deck. Only hardware problems I ever had were joycon drift and the spicy pillow. Can't complain too much.

3 a.m. thoughts: It's completely OK that GDQ'S were the catalyst of our friendships, but we would all do well to remember that we don't -need- to have gdq as the core place that we all meet at throughout the year. You can still have a moment of reprieve with your friends outside of event meets ups.
