There’s a lot of context I could give that I shouldn’t share publicly (feel free to dm ofc), but I will say that a few things are at play here: the authors weren’t program staff (who may have held themselves to higher standards) and afaik there aren’t any traditional fact checking protocols

Admittedly, my situation was much more complex: I have a thyroid condition. While it did not require hormone-based treatment, I could have benefited from taking a non-T androgen to mitigate the thyroid issue. If I was cishet presenting, I would’ve been able to play on the women’s team no problem

To be totally honest, my issue is actually that trans people who are early transition (starter doses of HRT) or mid-transition have no place in athletics. Starter dose of T disqualifies you from women’s teams in NCAA but that doesn’t always mean you can compete on the men’s.

If you’re not familiar, ACJ was founded in 1942 to emphasize Judaism as a religious identity, not a national one. Two years ago, @rabbiandykahn.com helped renew ACJ. Today, ACJ offers Jewish education, intercommunal connections, and religious guidance beyond nationalism.
