How to relax your vocal chords (scientifically) Now I am not a medical professional, but this is how I was taught to relax my vocal chords when dealing with VCD but I've found it's reeeeally helpful for voice acting too so I figured I'd share! #voiceacting #VO

VO tip: STOP ERASING IMPERFECTIONS I know it's so appealing to splice takes together, we are our own biggest critics, but try to get through all the lines in an audition one after the other and then find the set of lines you like the best and go with it. No splicing #voiceactor

Be specific! That's what I'm learning more as I grow as an artist #voiceactor #voiceacting

A really great audio drama! (and not just because I happen to narrate several episodes 🤭) The writing just draws you in, as with all Maeltopia works! Can't suggest it enough!

I started voice acting because I didn't believe I was capable of doing it. And in the begining, I was bad at it, truly bad. But doing something difficult and embracing the full discomfort of that before getting better was the best thing I've ever done in my life. 1/3

Hey folks! I'm a dyslexic voice actress. I made a tool to help format audition sides and scripts and decided that other folks can probably use it too! So here's a short video on how it works, and I'll put a link below where you can download the free tool youtu.be/v_QgYLLUYq8

It makes me so sad that most folks I talk to outside the voice actor space don't know what audio dramas are or do but only vaguely. I LOVE horror ones; Magnus Archives, Alice Isn't Dead, Gentleman from Hell What are your favs, horror on not? Let's give Audio dramas some love!

If we're going to build a story, then we might as well build a fun one. One with the relationships, locations, and conflicts that we know. One that we'd be willing to explore. To have fun in. ❤️ Thank you for coming and playing hard, actors. I mean it - you are my motivation to work even harder. 💪😤
