I saw a woodpecker today! I've never seen one in real life before. I was waiting for my friend to grab something from our apt, and I heard the tapping, glanced over, and there it was. So freaking cute! I tried to take a picture with my phone, but it didn't turn out. Wish I'd had my big camera on me.

I hope this place picks up someday. I miss when it was easier to sink into a writing community on twitter, & it'd be great if Bluesky could find that level of success. I want to surround myself w/ nothing but writers, writing, and fiction. I can't live in the real world right now. #writers #writing

I hate having to revise when I'm not done with the zero draft. I'm close-ish, but I have to add a bunch of things that I forgot about. I realize that if I wait until I'm done with the draft, it might be that much harder for me to fix it. x_x #writers #writing #authors #writingcommunity

I got some veru helpful info on a FB #writing group. It's wonderful when we can connect with #readers & #writers in our specific genres. I'm still working on/figuring out my newsletter, and I already have 20 people lined up for it, which is great. The not-so-great part is that... I'm actually not sure which person is there for what book, and one of the books is a very controversial theme. #writing #writers #writingcommunity #lgbt
