For my art history final we had to take something from after the 1400s and interpret it through the modern lens. So I made a fakemon! Introducing Quinaco! the memory knot pokemon. It's explanation slide from my presentation has been included! #fakemon #pokemon #creaturedesign #art #artist

An image of an unofficial pokemon design based off of a Guanaco, Chincilla, and quipu
Text in the image refers to it's name being Quinaco, the memory knot pokemon. It having an ability: Learn from the Past which increases the accuracy of moves for each time they are used consecutively, and it being a psychic ground type
The creature looks like an alpaca with the long fur from it's belly extending up into a ring which hold various quipu, with the knots glowing pink.

A slide from a slideshow with the following text under the title "The Explantaion"

For this Visual Response Assignment, where we were given free range to decide on our own prompt, I knew that I wanted to create a fantastical creature of some sort.
I looked to pokemon for the ways they take mythology and culture and combine them with local flora and fauna to create creatures.
I wanted to take something used for record keeping to create a pokemon that acts like a sage, or a living tome. I came back to the Incan Quipu, a record keeping device that utilizes knots to represent numerical date, and imagined a pokemon that creates these quipu as a record of the past and future.
I then looked into the native creatures of the Andes, and the Guanaco, being one of the creatures whose wool was used to make quipu, was a perfect fit. I also used aspects of a chinchilla (mainly for tail and ear shape) as a way to make it an even fluffier creature.
The Quinaco is a creature whose wool forms into knots that hold the knowledge of the past and future, the more knots on its body the more knowledge it has accumulated. The knots glow a pink hue when they call upon this power and knowledge to attack and defend.
It is also prized as a pack beast for its ability to navigate the mountains, and sense landslides and storms before they come.

Due to a situation that happened last session, my DM prompted (begged) me to draw my #dndcharacter as a cowgirl using her lightning whip as a lasso while doing her hop (with her girlfriends assistance). #lesbian #furry #sheep #dnd #artist #commissionsopen

An anthropomorphic sheep girl, wearing a cowgirl outfit, hovers in the air (assisted telekinetically by an ally in the background) using a lasso made of electricity to attempt to wrangle a large fluffy ram, jumping towards the viewer.
