Sicarius is an experiment. Raised to be nothing more than a weapon, an assassin, by two of the richest men in the aetherlands. It views itself as that too - an assassin, an animal, a monster. It is confused by other STAR agents - how they treat it. React to it with pity, confusion, fear. It is confused, and so it avoids them. Rilian is an expert marksman and acts as a parental figure toward any child or teenager he encounters. In SOUL, that means Necrose - Svetal’s 18-year-old son. Svetal is SOUL’s artificer and demolitionist, an expert in all things explosive. She is Necrose’s mother, and is the reason her son is also working for SOUL. She carries a secret: the father of her son’s identity. Relations with Aetherlanders are strictly forbidden in the Underlands, but Svetal had chosen to try and see if mixing Underland and Aetherland blood could make something more powerful than both. Necrose is a hybrid an Underlander and an Aetherlander. He keeps his angelic heritage secret on his mother’s orders, scared he’ll be killed for it. He is scared of many things, really, his mother included. He is one of SOUL’s soldiers, his magic allowing him to turn his bones into weapons he can wield. Monos has two selves - its physical body, logic, lacking empathy or emotion, and its spiritual form, a giant wolf it can turn into. The wolf feels, but its feelings are warped.
